Many times when you surf the Internet, you find websites that have audio content, whether music, videos or other effects, which can be highly annoying. For this reason, Muter has been created. It's a simple application that lets you remove the sound from your web browser with just one click.

Muter is a handy add-on for Mozilla Firefox that allows just that, to remove the sound from your browser, so that it doesn't emit any sound or music while surfing the net. Once installed, it will show an icon in the status bar, from which you can enable or disable the sound quickly.
